Use and Conservation

To clean your leather shoes, we recommend using a damp cloth and mild soap, and avoiding soaking them in water or putting them in the washing machine. If your shoes get wet for any reason, let them dry naturally in the shade, on a flat horizontal surface. Avoid exposing them directly to the sun, as this can damage the leather. Never speed up drying with dryers, ovens, stoves or behind the refrigerator, as contact with high temperatures can affect some shoe components.

Our footwear, regardless of material, absorbs and eliminates feet sweat. For this feet sweat to be released, the shoes need to "rest" in a cool and ventilated area. Avoid wearing the same shoes every day. This increases durability and prevents stains and bad odors.

Store your shoes indoors. Exposure to the sun can damage the outside layer and cause white soles to yellow.

It is important to air the insoles. Remove them from your shoes to eliminate bad odor and, if that's not enough, apply a little baking soda.

Before polishing your shoes, use a soft-bristled brush, a smooth sponge, or a cloth dampened in water to remove dust and dirt that can stain the leather. When applying the polish, do a preliminary test on a less visible area to ensure compatibility with the shoe material.
